Thillalangadi, the Tamil version of the Telugu film Kick, starring Tamannaah and Jayam Ravi in the lead, has found a fan in Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

Sajid, who’s produced films like Judwaa, Kambakkht Ishq, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi with Salman Khan, is all set to cast him in the Hindi remake of Thillalangadi. Sources close to the producer say that Sajid saw both the Tamil and Telugu version and liked the script. He has decided to cast Salman in the lead and news is that Sonakshi Sinha, who’s playing the lead in Salman’s yet-to-release Dabangg, will be his co-star in the Hindi version of Kick.

There were reports that A R Murugadoss was supposed to direct the Hindi version of the film, but when contacted, he said, “No. I’m not doing the film.”

Well, looks like Kick is all set to make a mark in Bollywood now...

The thrilling performance by all three contestants – Bhoomi, Rakesh and Sreeram, who have been rocking the Indian Diaspora in different countries as well as the music lovers in India has come to an end with Kareena’s short and sizzling appearance and mind boggling performance of the three contestants which also brought out their dancing abilities apart from singing.

Shankar Mahadevan today made a memorable appearance with his trade mark singing along side dear Sreeram who the entire Telugu community has been praying to become Indian Idol 5.

Last came Mr Amitabh Bachchan with his charismatic voice and enviable personality who also reminded everybody of his next assisgnment KBC 4. He is the chief guest to announce the winner by pressing a button for a screen which displayed Sreeram’s face. Trisha, who has gone missing for quite some time down south is now ready to woo the audience through her Bollywood’s debut release ‘Khatta Meeta’ with Akshya Kumar as her co-star. But surprisingly when hero Akshay and director Priyadharshan are busy in promoting the film, the dusky beauty became unavailable. The reason, she is right now in Europe shooting for Kamal’s latest film ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ under KS Ravi Kumar’s direction. This has disappointed Priyadarshan to some extent. However, the actress is more excited about the release of her debut film ‘Khatta Meeta’ on July 23rd.

These filmmakers want to start shooting in April-May-June. Naturally, the actress can’t spread herself thin despite her wanting to be in each of these projects. And right now, Kat must be joining her hands in prayer and hoping that some divine intervention will sort out her dates diary.
