Sindhu Menon born in Thrissur, Kerala settled down in Bangalore after completion of her studies acted in malayalam movies like Uthaman with jayaram, Rajamanikam and twenty twenty.

The actress made her debut in Tamil with Bharathiraja's Kadal Pookal and later she also has acted in Samuthiram movie.

After a long gap, she came back to Tamil with her extraordinary performance in Eeram. Which turned out to be a super hit movie.

Sindhu Menon and Prabhu, a software engineer from Uttar Pradhesh have been in love for years. After both the families accepted their love, the marraige took place in Bangalore. Only a very few close relatives were invited for the marraige, not even the media was aware of the happenings.

The reception was held at the Bowring Club, MG Road, Bangalore. Few film personalities were invited for the function including Earam director Arivazhagan, Actor Nandha .
